Migration
The 2015–16 unprecedented European migrant and refugee crisis brought about significant changes in the migration policy agenda of the EU. On 7 June 2016, the European Commission set out a Migration Partnership Framework to guide the EU and its Member States’ engagement with third countries. The framework aims to deliver clear targets and better management of migration.
At DEZ Professional Consulting, we research the external aspects of EU migration policies and provide consulting services to public authorities on required migration issues and border management. We monitor and advise on EU Cooperation in the field of migration management and its political engagement of providing support to projects for job creation, access to education or border management.
More specifically:
- We advise on managing migration activities towards benefitting from the EU Emergency Trust Fund.
- We assist in drafting the causes of irregular migration and displaced persons by participating in the identification and management of the migration activities.
- We advise on mechanisms on readmissions and effective returns of refugees and displaced persons and strengthening the synergies between migration and development.
